This characterful figure kneels on one knee atop a shaped base, head tipped back and mouth open in full voice, a shaggy fur ushanka pulled down over long hair and a bushy beard. He cradles a triangular balalaika whose soundboard is covered in swirling engraved scrollwork, one hand fretting the ornately carved neck while the other strums.
