Description

A face mapped in a grid of pins and stitches, pure nightmare fuel for the shelf. This bust portrays a bald, hollow-eyed man whose skin is scored into a taut grid, with a dark point marked at every intersection as though he has been measured out for some grim ritual. His mouth hangs open mid-gasp, the neck muscles strain, and the head rises from a cracked, rubble-strewn plinth that grounds it as a finished display sculpture. It is aimed at horror collectors, tabletop cultists and villains, Halloween displays and fans of body-horror cinema. The rough stone base and pitted skin texture take drybrushing beautifully. Print notes • As a 3D print, run it in resin at 0.03 to 0.05mm to hold the grid lines and dot marks; FDM softens the fine detail. • Print upright with light supports under the chin and brow, or hollow it with a drain hole to save resin. • If machining as deep relief instead, use a fine tapered ball nose for the facial grid and the punched dots. • Prime pale, wash sepia or grey into the grid, then drybrush bone-white so the stitched pattern leaps out.
