Hooded Elven Maiden Bust

A hooded maiden, face lifted as if catching the first light. This is a portrait bust of a young woman: long, softly waving hair falls past her shoulders, a cloak with a raised hood drapes around her, and an ornate leaf-and-clasp pendant sits at her throat like an Art Nouveau brooch. The gown gathers in flowing folds, and the whole figure rises from a deliberately rough, broken-stone plinth that contrasts the smooth skin and fabric above it — an elven or fantasy heroine with a calm, upward gaze. Despite sitting in the CNC category, the model is a full three-dimensional sculpture, ideal as a display bust, a painting project, or a centrepiece for collectors of fantasy figures. It can also be carved as a deep relief if you flatten the back. Print notes: • Resin/SLA captures the eyes, lips and pendant filigree best; FDM at 0.08–0.12mm with fine perimeters is a solid alternative. • Supports will be needed under the chin, hood lip and the sweep of hair — orient upright and add a raft on the rocky base. • Hollow the base with drain/vent holes to save resin on a bust of this size (roughly 12–15cm reads well). • Prime grey, then glaze skin tones and pick out the pendant in metallics, or leave it bare stone-effect for a classical look.
