Description

A grim little stage built entirely from the bones of the fallen. Despite the CNC label, this is a fully sculpted two-tier display base carpeted in human skulls. Dozens of them, jawless and hollow-eyed, packed shoulder to shoulder, ring a raised central plinth, spilling down onto a lower rim and scattering across the cracked, rocky groundwork below. The upper cylinder is topped with a small locating peg, clearly meant to seat a hero miniature, banner or objective marker so it looks like it is rising straight out of an ossuary. It is a characterful terrain piece for grimdark and dark-fantasy tabletops, or a standalone macabre desk ornament. Print notes • Resin is the way to go here; the density of overlapping skulls needs finer detail than FDM layer lines will hold. • Print it flat as oriented; the undercuts between skulls want light supports, but the top surface stays clean. • Hollow the underside and add a drain hole to save resin on the solid plinth. • Leave the crown peg proud, or drill it out for a magnet if you want to swap figures. • Dry-brush bone over a brown wash and the deep recesses do the shading for you. Sizes up or down neatly to match 25 mm, 32 mm or 40 mm round base standards.
