Alert Rabbit On Rock Figurine

An upright little rabbit, paw raised, nose to the wind. This is a decorative animal figurine — nothing to do with the lattice panel its tags suggest. A softly sculpted bunny perches on a craggy rock, its weight resting on one hind leg while a front paw curls up toward its chest and its head tips back as if it has just caught a scent. Tall ears, a rounded cheek and finely combed fur texture give it real warmth, while the rough-hewn rock base grounds the piece and adds contrast to the smooth body. Print notes • Resin captures the fur striations and delicate ear edges best, but a fine-nozzle FDM print at 0.12mm also does it justice. • Print upright on the rock base — it's a natural flat footprint needing little or no support. • Watch the overhang under the raised paw and chin; a couple of light tree supports there prevent sag. • Hollow with a hidden drain hole if resin-printing to save material on the solid body. • Finishes beautifully in stone-effect or matte cream paint for a carved-alabaster look.
