A roly-poly Gaulish menhir-hauler, grinning beneath his winged helmet. Instantly recognisable as the big-hearted sidekick from the classic French *Astérix* comics, this is a chunky cartoon figure: an enormous round belly cinched by a broad studded belt, a small smiling head with a drooping moustache and two long ginger plaits tied off with bows, a winged helmet perched on top, and little feet poking out beneath.
