Hooded Masked Tyrant Bust

A cowled tyrant glares out from beneath a heavy, draped hood. This is a chest-up character bust, not a flat panel: a gaunt masked face sits deep inside a folded cloth hood, its hollow eye sockets shadowed, its cheeks and segmented jaw plated like a riveted metal death mask. A weighty chain swags across the chest, linking two round disc clasps set into a textured, quilted tunic. The whole thing reads as a classic comic-book despot — brooding, armoured and unmistakably a villain. It's built for display and for painters who love a face full of shadow and metal. At bust scale it makes a commanding shelf centrepiece, a paint-practice piece for skin-over-metal effects, or a gift for a comics fan. Print notes • Resin gives the crispest result on the masked face and chain links; a fine-nozzle FDM print at 0.08mm also holds up. • Print upright; add supports for the hood's front overhang and the underside of the chin. • Hollow the bust and add a drain hole to save resin on a piece this solid. • Aim for roughly 120–200mm tall so the facial detail earns its keep, and seat it on a plinth for weight. Prime in grey, wash the recesses to pop the eye sockets and jaw plates, then dry-brush the chain and clasps for a battered-metal look.
