Patrol Car Laurel Crest Plaque

A patrol car framed in swords and laurel — a badge built for deep relief. At the centre of this circular emblem sits a front-on view of a classic saloon patrol car, roof light-bar blazing against a spiky starburst, headlamps and grille rendered crisply above chevron-tread tyres. Cut notes • The design has strong depth changes — pick stock at least 18–20 mm thick so the wreath and central car can sit on separate planes. • Clear the background with a larger bit, then switch to a fine ball-nose for the leaf veining, grille slats and sword detail. • Dense, even-grained hardwood or good MDF both hold the small features; MDF is kinder if you plan to paint. • Finish by picking out the raised elements with paint, gilt wax or a dark glaze wiped into the recesses to make the relief pop.
