Description

A martial badge rendered in crisp relief — an upright sword crossing a riveted shield. The centrepiece is a broad heater shield studded with rivets around its border, carrying a bold serif letter set proud against the field. A straight, ridged-grip dagger runs vertically from crown to point, its guard curling into scrolled quillons at the top. Two ribbon banners — one arcing up each flank, one crossing the lower shield — bear raised Cyrillic lettering, giving it the look of a special-service or security emblem in the Eastern European tradition. Everything is staged for depth: the shield stands off the background, the sword and scrollwork lift again above it, and the lettering is cleanly raised for legibility. CNC notes • A dense hardwood (oak, ash) or a hard modelling board holds the rivets, banner script and the sword's central fuller crisply. • Two-stage toolpath: rough with a 6 mm end mill, then finish with a 1.5–2 mm tapered ball; a short pencil pass tidies the lettering and rivet edges. • Keep it proud on a plaque blank so it can hang as a wall emblem, or recess it into a presentation board. • Finish dark — stain or gilt wax into the field with the raised sword and shield sanded back to bright timber reads like a struck medal.
