Description

A five-pointed star carved into a slab of cracked, weathered stone. This CNC relief renders a rustic pentacle: a single continuous pentagram inscribed inside a rough circular disc, with a raised round boss marking each of the five points and one more at the very centre. The whole surface is textured like riven rock — fissures, chips and irregular facets — so it looks quarried and ancient rather than machined. The pentagram here is the classic protective, elemental star — a staple of pagan, Wiccan and fantasy decor, not a hate symbol. It makes a striking altar tile, wall talisman, thick coaster-style disc, or set piece for a witchy or dungeon-themed room, and the boss studs give it a sturdy, amulet-like weight. Cut notes • On a CNC router, rough the stony ground with a ball-nose then cut the crisp star channels with a V-bit for sharp, deep lines that read from across a room. • The bosses at the points sit proud — leave enough stock so they don't undercut, and hand-sand their crowns smooth against the rough field. • For 3D printing, resin captures the rock cracks best; FDM at 0.12 mm still reads well and takes stone-effect paint nicely. • Finish with a grey basecoat, a black wash into the cracks and star grooves, then a light drybrush to lift the raised stone — an instant carved-granite look.
