Description

A trophy of arms, framed in braided rope. This square relief panel stacks a whole armoury into one heraldic emblem. At the centre sits a round shield or targe carved with an interlaced six-point star and a raised boss; an arched banner curves over the top, ready for a name or motto. Behind the shield a spear and a barbed arrow cross diagonally, while a battle-axe and a spiked club cross beneath, their shafts running to the corners. Slit pennants flutter from the sides, and the whole scene is enclosed by a tight guilloche — a plaited rope border — with small leaf sprigs at the corners. It is built for signage and display: a games room, a re-enactment club, a medieval-themed bar, or a carved crest over a doorway. The blank banner invites personalisation. Print notes • Everything faces one way, so treat it as a single-sided relief — face-up on the printer or CNC bed, no supports needed. • The spear tip, arrow barbs, and the fine rope border are the delicate zones; on a router, save them for a small finishing bit after clearing the field. • For a crisp result, cut deep enough that the crossed shafts throw real shadow, then pick out the shield star and border with a contrasting wash or gilding.
