Rampant Lions Heraldic Crest Plaque

Two rampant lions rearing up to guard a monogrammed crest — a proper heraldic showpiece for the router. This is a symmetrical decorative relief. A pair of heraldic lions rise on their hind legs, manes flowing and front paws braced against a central baroque cartouche framed in scrolling acanthus. The oval shield carries a bold raised "M", and beneath it a smaller roped "O" medallion sits between curling dolphin tails and leaf flourishes. It's classic coat-of-arms styling, sized to crown a fireplace overmantel, a gateway, a headboard, a bar back or an estate sign. CNC and finishing notes: • Designed as a single-sided relief — cut on a CNC router in oak, walnut or MDF, or carve HDU/foam for weatherproof outdoor signage • Rough with a large end mill, then finish the manes, scrolls and dolphin detail with a tapered ball nose around 2–3mm • The deep undercuts read best with a fine finishing pass; slow the stepover through the ornament • Also prints well in resin or FDM as a wall plaque, ready to gild, wax or antique The M and O initials can be swapped in your CAM if you'd rather carry different letters.
