Description

A broad, five-lobed leaf carved in deep relief, each lobe scooped into a shallow hollow. This is a decorative leaf carving — a wide, wavy-edged leaf, fig- or grape-like, with a serrated, softly frilled margin. A raised central vein and radiating side veins split the blade into concave scooped sections, so it reads as much like a leaf-shaped dish as a wall plaque. At the base the stem carries two tiny budding shoots, a neat piece of botanical detail, and the scooped lobes give real depth and shadow. It works as a bas-relief wall accent, a leaf-shaped catch-all or trinket dish for keys, coins or jewellery, a soap dish, or a natural-theme decoration for a hallway or living room. Print notes: • This is a single-sided relief — perfect for CNC 3D relief or V-carving in wood, where the scooped lobes finish beautifully with a ball-nose bit. • For 3D printing, lay it flat face-up on the bed so the whole relief prints support-free. • Thicken the model slightly if you want a sturdier dish rather than a thin plaque. • If you will use it as a dish, seal the surface — a food-safe finish for a wooden carve, or a resin/epoxy coat for a print. • Sand the raised veins, then stain, gild or wax to lift the grain and the venation.
