Heraldic Crest Motto Plaque

A heraldic shield rendered as deep carved relief, motto and all. The panel is an octagonal-edged crest with a stepped border, and at its heart sits a smaller inner shield carrying a central emblem — an upright staff or sword crossed by geometric key-and-bracket forms, the kind of stylised insignia you find on a state law or security service badge. Curving around the lower field, in raised Cyrillic lettering, runs a two-part motto separated by a central dot. Everything is modelled with rounded, hand-carved softness rather than sharp machine edges, so the highlights roll gently across the raised text and emblem. This is aimed at makers cutting commemorative plaques, service awards, mancave or office wall pieces, or badge-style door signs. It works as a standalone plaque or as an inset into a larger frame. Print notes: • It's a single-sided relief, so orient it face-up on the bed and cut/print from the flat back — no supports needed. • For CNC, rough with a larger end mill then finish the lettering and emblem with a fine tapered ball nose; the raised Cyrillic wants a small tool to keep the strokes clean. • On resin or FDM, a slightly larger scale keeps the fine border steps and text legible. • Finish in a metallic bronze or antique brass rub to lean into the badge look, or leave it in natural timber. A dignified, detailed crest that reads as an official emblem when finished.
