Heraldic Spread-Wing Eagle Relief

A proud heraldic eagle displayed with wings thrown wide and talons braced. Carved in crisp relief, this is the classic Polish-style white eagle in full "displayed" heraldic pose: head turned sharply in profile with a hooked open beak, chest layered in overlapping scale-like feathers, and two great wings sweeping up and out to fill the frame. Each wing is worked feather by feather, with a small trefoil star accent near the shoulder joints, and the legs drop into splayed, curling talons over a fan of ornamental tail feathers. It is bold, symmetrical and instantly reads as a coat-of-arms centrepiece — no crown, just the bare eagle emblem. This one suits heraldry and patriotic display: a wall plaque, gate or door emblem, a shield or crest topper, or a statement relief for someone with Polish or eagle heritage. Print / CNC notes • The feather detail is the whole point — cut with a fine tapered ball-nose and a tight stepover so each barb stays separate. • On a router the deep gaps between wing feathers may need a small down-cut to clear cleanly without tear-out. • Printing? It lies flat on its back, no supports; use 0.12mm layers to hold the feather edges and beak. • Gorgeous in oak or ash; a gilt or bronze finish over a dark base really lifts the layered plumage.
