Kayak and Crossed Paddles Emblem

A kayaker's badge, carved as a laurel-framed relief. At the heart of the design a sleek kayak stands upright as a pointed vesica shape, its cockpit hollow raised in the centre; across it lie two double-bladed paddles on a diagonal, blades flared at each end. A full laurel wreath of layered leaves wraps the whole emblem and ties off in the classic sporting-award style. This is a natural wall piece for a paddling club, a canoe or kayak enthusiast's den, a trophy or presentation plaque, or a gift for someone who lives for the water. It looks equally at home in a boathouse or a home study. Cut / print notes • As a CNC relief, hog the background first, then switch to a tapered ball-nose for the overlapping paddle blades and each leaf of the wreath. • Keep the stepover tight (around 8%) so the many small laurel leaves stay individually defined. • For 3D printing, lay it flat face-up and print support-free at 0.12 mm layers; the crossed paddles read cleanly after a light sanding. • Finish with a stain-and-wipe to sink shadow into the wreath, or paint the kayak and paddles in club colours.
