Bat And Globe Military Medallion

A bronze-look military medallion with a bat on the wing. This round relief sets a bat with fully outstretched wings above a gridded globe, its body perched at the meridian where the wing membranes fan out to left and right. Raised Cyrillic lettering arcs across the top and sweeps along the bottom rim, and the entire background is filled with a fine diamond crosshatch that throws the smooth emblem into relief. It is the classic reconnaissance-service crest, rendered as a collector's coin-style plaque. Hang it in a study, add it to a militaria wall, or finish it as an oversized challenge-coin display piece. Print / carve notes • Ideal as a single-sided CNC roundel; hog the crosshatch field with a v-bit and clean the bat and lettering with a fine ball-nose. • On FDM, print face-up with a 0.4 mm nozzle or smaller so the raised text stays legible. • A dark base coat wiped back to reveal bronze or old-gold on the high points gives an authentic struck-metal finish. • Keep the reverse flat for a wall boss or magnet mount.
