Description

A family-crest panel: one ornate initial, a ribboned date, and a framed square of scrollwork. Carved as a recessed relief inside a plain square border, this plaque centres on a classic heraldic shield bearing a single flourished monogram — a swirling, calligraphic letter with looping serifs. A banner ribbon arcs across the top with "2015" lettered into it, while feathery mantling and paired scrolls curl out from behind the shield and pool into a small scrolled cartouche at the base. It is a commemorative, coat-of-arms look — the kind of thing made to mark a wedding year, a family name, or a business founding. Hang it as a wall plaque, set it into a gate or headboard, or use it as a decorative sign blank. CNC notes: • The raised border makes a natural pocket — clear the field first, then detail the shield, ribbon and scrolls with a fine ball-nose. • The monogram's thin loops and the ribbon lettering are the finest features; use a small tapered bit and a tight step-over so they stay legible. • Hardwood or high-density MDF gives clean vertical walls on the frame; brush finish down into the recesses where sanding can't reach. • Want it personalised? The letter and year are easy to swap in your CAM model before cutting. A stain-and-wipe, or a dark glaze in the recesses, makes the raised crest jump forward.
