Sniper Rifle Crosshair Medallion

A novelty commemorative disc built around a target reticle and a rifle. This round medallion relief centres on a large sniper crosshair, its concentric rings and cross lines sunk into a coin-like face, with a scoped rifle laid diagonally across the whole design. Raised lettering curves around the rim: *COVID-STOPENDER* along the top and the Russian phrase *РАБОТАЮ УДАЛЁННО* ("working remotely") around the base, framed by a clean beaded border. It is a tongue-in-cheek lockdown-era joke piece rendered as a carved plaque. As a CNC project it suits a shallow bronze-look wall token, a paperweight blank, or a mould master. The lettering and the fine rings are the make-or-break detail here. CNC notes: • Rough with a larger end mill, then finish the reticle rings, rifle body and text with a fine tapered ball nose to hold the small raised type. • A hardwood such as beech or walnut takes the crisp edges best; MDF works for a painted or bronze-waxed finish. • Watch the thin cross lines and the rifle barrel for tear-out; take light finishing passes and mind grain direction. • A dark antiquing wax rubbed back over a gilt base sells the aged-medal look.
