Bald Eagle And Cross Medallion

A fierce bald eagle stares out from behind a bold, weathered cross. This circular relief medallion pairs a sharply modelled raptor head - hooked beak, furrowed brow, feathers combed back in fine ridges - with a heavy diagonal timber cross laid across the disc. A twisted rope moulding rings the outer edge, and an integral squared loop at the top turns the whole piece into a hanging fob, ornament or gift keepsake. The carving reads with real depth: the eagle's plumage and eye sit proud of the sunken field, while the cross casts its own crisp shadow line.
