Serbian Coat of Arms Plaque

A national emblem rendered in deep, layered relief. This is the Serbian coat of arms, and the carving captures every tier of it. A spread-winged, double-headed eagle dominates the shield-shaped field, its two heads turned outward and its feathered wings fanned wide with row upon row of overlapping plumage. Across its breast sits a smaller escutcheon bearing the cross flanked by four firesteels (the ocila), and a pair of fleur-de-lis flourishes anchor the base. Crowning the whole thing is an ornate royal crown with beaded arches and a small cross finial, floating just above the shield. It is a striking wall plaque for a heraldry enthusiast, a patriotic gift, or a feature piece over a mantel or doorway. The tiered depth means it looks best lit from one side so the feathers throw shadow. Print notes: • This is genuine multi-level relief — run a fine ball-nose finishing pass to resolve the individual feathers and the crown's openwork. • Carve in a hardwood blank or 3D print in resin for the sharpest small detail; orient it flat, face-up. • If printing the pierced crown, add light supports only under its arches; the main field is self-supporting. • Pick out the eagle in white, the shield cross in red and the crown in gold for a traditional finish, or leave it as a monochrome carved panel.
