Winged Caduceus Medical Emblem

The winged staff of Hermes, twin serpents and all, carved in crisp relief. This is a caduceus: a central rod topped with a small sphere, crowned by two broad feathered wings that sweep symmetrically outward, with a pair of snakes spiralling up the shaft and meeting head-to-head near the top. The feather ranks are individually defined, the snake coils cross the staff in clean over-under turns, and the tail finials taper to fine points at the base. It's an instantly readable symbol of medicine and healthcare, which makes it a natural sign or plaque for a clinic, pharmacy, surgery door, or a gift for a medic, nurse or graduating student. Mount it as a wall emblem, inset it into a reception desk front, or scale it down for a paperweight or trophy topper. Print / cut notes: • The entwined snakes create genuine undercuts around the staff — for CNC, treat the snakes and wings as a shallow relief and accept some simplification, or split and machine from two sides for full roundness. • Resin printing captures the feather and scale detail best; orient it face-up at a slight tilt and support the wing tips and the free snake loops. • The fine tail point is delicate — thicken it slightly if the piece will be handled. • Prime and drybrush a warm metallic (bronze or brushed gold) over a dark base to make the feathers and coils read from across a room.
