Description

A knight's shield crowned by a pair of crossed broadswords — the crest for a hallway that wants a little iron in its blood. The carving centres on a tall kite-form shield, its long tapering point falling toward the floor and its edge studded with a neat run of rivet-heads. Across the face sits a bold Latin cross with softly flared arm-tips, raised in clean relief so the light rakes down its length. Behind the shield two matching swords cross in a saltire, their pommels and cross-guards detailed with little bosses, blades emerging past the shield's tip. It reads as templar, crusader, order-of-knights heraldry without copying any real coat of arms. It suits a study wall, a games room, a re-enactor's den, or the door of a home bar — anywhere a bit of medieval swagger belongs. Frame it, hang it bare, or mount it on a contrasting backer board. Print notes: • Cut or 3D-print in a single flat orientation with the shield face up; the model has a clean flat back for wall mounting. • On a CNC router, a tapered ball-nose finishing pass gives the rounded cross arms and sword fullers their soft, hand-carved look. • Hardwoods such as oak, walnut or sapele take the fine rivet detail crisply; seal and wax, or gild the cross for a reliquary feel. • For FDM, print flat with a fine layer height and add supports only under the overhanging sword guards.
