Description

A radiant eye at the heart of a copper six-pointed star — unmistakable Masonic iconography rendered in deep relief. The panel builds outward from a central Eye of Providence, its lashes fanned by a burst of straight and tapered light rays. Bracketing it is the Freemason's square and compasses, tilted into a diamond so the two instruments frame the eye exactly. All of this sits inside a hexagram — two interlocking triangles forming a Star of David — with delicate filigree scrollwork tucked into the star's inner points. The warm, brushed-copper finish in the render shows off how crisply the layered depths read under raking light. It's a piece for a lodge wall, an esoteric-minded study, or anyone who collects sacred-geometry and symbolic art. Mounted and side-lit, the radial rays practically flicker. Print notes: • Carve into a hardwood blank (walnut or maple) for the best contrast between polished field and recessed detail. • Rough with a ball-nose, then cut the fine rays and filigree with a 30–60° V-bit for clean, sharp valleys. • Lay it flat on the bed; the whole design is single-sided relief, so no supports are needed. • A dark glaze wiped into the recesses and buffed off the high points brings out the star's geometry; a copper or gilt wax echoes the render.
