FSB Sword and Wreath Crest

A security-service crest anchored by a downturned blade. This relief badge centres on a long double-edged sword pointing straight down, its ribbed grip and rounded pommel rising above a broad crossguard. The blade passes through an oval laurel wreath of layered leaves, and across the middle sit three large, boldly raised Cyrillic letters, "ФСБ," the emblem of the Russian Federal Security Service. A small arched banner at the very top reads "ХПИ." Everything is modelled in crisp, high-contrast relief against a plain field, in the style of an official service insignia. It is intended as an insignia plaque or badge: a wall-mounted crest, a desk piece, a pendant, or a collector's display item for someone drawn to service heraldry and lettering. Carving and print notes: • The tall letterforms and slim blade are the whole design, so finish them with a fine ball-nose or engraving bit to keep edges sharp. • Carve in a tight-grained hardwood or print in resin face-up; on FDM, add light supports only under the crossguard tips and letter overhangs. • Rough the wreath and field first, then do a shallow finishing pass so the raised elements sit proud of a clean background. • Paint or gild the letters and blade and leave the recessed field dark to maximise legibility.
