Earth Sigil Floral Wreath Roundel

An earth-sign sigil cradled in a ring of carved blossoms. This circular relief pairs two very different vocabularies: an outer torus wreath studded with a repeating four-lobed flower-and-leaf motif, and an open inner window that frames a bold central emblem — two nested downward-pointing triangles capped by a horizontal bar, the kind of clean geometric glyph that reads as an alchemical earth symbol or a fantasy game sigil. The contrast is the whole appeal: soft, rounded petalwork around the rim set against crisp, hard-edged linework at the core. Carved into hardwood it makes a striking door roundel, a plaque above a games room or workshop, or a wall medallion for anyone drawn to elemental and occult iconography. CNC notes • Rough the field with a ballnose, then detail the petal undercuts and the sharp triangle grooves with a fine tapered ball or a 60° V-bit. • Straight-grained hardwood (oak, walnut, sapele) holds the geometric edges best; close-grained maple suits a painted finish. • Scale to roughly 200–300 mm across so the rim florets keep their definition. • Leave the triangle emblem proud and lightly gild or dry-brush it to lift it off a stained background.
