Print notes • As a CNC relief, run a roughing pass then a fine ball-nose finishing pass (1–2 mm stepover) to catch the individual hair strands and beard texture. • As an FDM or resin print, orient it face-up with the relief flat on the bed so no supports ever touch the portrait; the flat back needs none. • Hardwood, MDF or dark-stained timber all suit it; a bronze or antique-gold rub over an FDM print gives a convincing cast-metal look. • Add a keyhole slot or picture hanger to the flat back before slicing so it sits flush on the wall.
