Description

A huntress caught in the half-second before the loose. This deep-relief panel sculpts a fantasy archer maiden in mid-stride, a longbow drawn across her body and her hand steady on the grip. Her hair streams back in thick carved locks, a long patterned cloak billows out behind her, and a quiver of arrows rides at her hip. She wears sculpted fantasy warrior gear, an ornamented top, a low banded belt and tall filigreed boots picked out with fine scrollwork, all rendered in bold high relief against a plain ground so the figure stands proud of the panel. It is built as wall art rather than a freestanding statue: a single flat back and a dramatic raised front, meant to hang in a games room, a study, a fantasy or D&D corner, or anywhere a heroic centrepiece is wanted. The strong depth means it catches light and shadow beautifully once finished. Print / CNC notes: • On a CNC this is a true 3D relief; rough with a ball-nose, then a fine finishing pass to bring back the hair strands, the bowstring and the boot filigree. • Machine or print with the panel face-up / vertical and keep the flat back against the stock or bed. • On resin, lay it back at an angle and support the bow limbs and streaming hair, the thinnest overhanging spans. • A dark base coat with a lighter drybrush over the raised detail makes the relief pop like carved stone or bronze.
