Description

A steady-eyed officer, caught in profile beneath a peaked cap. This is a portrait bust of a uniformed man — a soldier or officer in a peaked military cap, shown from the side so the strong brow, straight nose, moustache and set jaw carry the likeness. The cap sits low with a defined band and peak; below the head the bust continues into a high-collared tunic with a single visible button, cropped at the chest in the classic bust format. The surface is a realistic, scan-style sculpt — lifelike proportions rather than the lattice or mandala the code hints at — with a slightly grainy modelled texture across the face and cap. It is a display and painting piece: a mantel or cabinet bust, a modelling subject for figure painters, or a commemorative historical portrait for militaria collectors. Print / cut notes: • For resin, print head-up at a slight tilt with supports on the rear of the cap and the shoulders, keeping the face support-free — that is where the fine detail must stay clean. • On FDM, orient upright and expect to smooth layer lines on the cheeks and cap; a coat of filler-primer and light sanding does it. • If you would rather route it as a wall relief, a fine ball-nose finishing pass captures the facial modelling. • Prime grey, then work thinned flesh tones and washes into the sculpted features; a matte varnish suits the wool uniform.
