Hushing Woman Portrait Relief

A woman lifts one finger to her lips — quiet, please. This deep-relief portrait shows a woman in a knotted headscarf, brow drawn into a slight frown, pressing a single index finger vertically against her lips in the universal 'shush'. Her forearm rises from the lower edge of the plaque, and the sculpting is confident and naturalistic — creased brow, defined cheekbones, and the folds of the scarf tied off behind her neck. It's a portrait with attitude, more character study than ornament.
