Horned Devil Ring Door Knocker

A little devil guarding your front door. The centrepiece is a horned imp's face — long, ribbed ram's horns curling back from a furrowed brow, huge pointed elf-like ears fanning out, narrowed eyes and a wickedly pointed goatee. Clenched in its teeth is a heavy circular ring, the striker of a working door knocker, and the ring's mounting scrolls into elegant curls on either side of the jaw. It is equal parts menacing and mischievous, with real character in the sneer. This is classic gothic door hardware: a knocker for a period front door, a garden gate, a den, or a Halloween entrance that stays up all year. It also reads well as a standalone wall face. Print / cut notes: • For a functional knocker, print the ring separately so it swings freely against a raised striker boss on the backplate. • Resin captures the horn ridges, teeth, and eye detail far better than coarse FDM; if using filament, keep layers fine and orient the face upward. • As a CNC relief it works as a deep flat-backed wall plaque — plunge the eye sockets and horn gaps first, then round the cheeks. • Prime and rub back an antique bronze or wrought-iron finish to sell the old-forge look; add a keyhole below for extra theatre.
