Twin Rose Cluster Appliqué

A little bouquet caught in timber: two full-blown roses sit at the centre of this decorative appliqué, cradled below by a pair of inward-curling acanthus scrolls and flanked by open daisy rosettes and pointed leaves that fan up and outward. It is a dense, high-relief cluster — much deeper and busier than a plain scroll onlay — built symmetrically so it centres neatly on whatever it dresses.
