Beaded Centre Slim Moulding Strip

A whisper-thin moulding with a single run of beads at its heart. This is one of the most restrained pieces in the catalogue: a knife-thin flat lath, plain and gently bevelled along its whole length, interrupted at the exact centre by a short cluster of small round beads. That tiny beaded run is the only ornament, and against the otherwise blank strip it reads as a quiet focal point — the kind of subtle detail that lifts a drawer front, a cabinet rail, a picture-frame liner or a panel divider without ever shouting. It is trim for people who like their decoration understated. Because the profile is so simple it drops into almost any joinery scheme, traditional or modern, and can be run in short lengths as an accent or repeated end to end. CNC & finishing notes • The relief is very low, so a fine ball-nose bit (around 1–2mm) will carve the little beads cleanly; a shallow V-pass handles the edge bevel. • Mirror or array the file along its length if you need a longer run. • The cross-section is fragile — glue it onto a solid substrate rather than handling it loose, and cut it from a close-grained hardwood. • Light hand-sanding is all the beads need before finishing.
