Description

A long floral crest that spills roses from a central shell. At the heart of this horizontal onlay sits a scalloped palmette-and-shell cartouche, framed by a ribbon arch and cushioned on a cluster of full-blown roses and berries. From that centre, two symmetrical vines sweep outward in shallow S-curves, each scattering five-petal blossoms and pointed leaves before tapering to a small floral spray at the very tips. It is lush and romantic without tipping into clutter: the flowers stay distinct and the stems have real flow. This is a statement centrepiece for larger pieces. Use it on the crown of a wardrobe or four-poster, the top rail of a grand mirror, an overmantel, or the frieze above a doorway. Its width is meant to span and draw the eye to a focal point. Print notes • Deeper and more three-dimensional than a plain scroll onlay, so the flowers carry genuine roundness. • On CNC, finish with a small ball-nose and expect a longer finishing pass to resolve the layered petals; an indexed or rotary pass helps clear the undercuts. • Resin is the easiest route to crisp blossoms; on FDM, print flat, add supports under the rose heads, then clean up before priming. • It gilds beautifully. Warm gold over a bole-red or deep base makes the roses read from across the room.
