Description

A flowering urn cradled by two great sweeping scrolls. This symmetrical relief centres on a fluted classical urn, its ribbed body set on a small square plinth and brimming with a cluster of five-petal blossoms. From behind the urn a pair of large acanthus-leaf volutes curl up and over, each scrolling into a tight spiral, so the whole composition rounds into a heart-like, almost circular silhouette. It is a decorative onlay with real presence — busier and more sculptural than a simple flourish. Use it as a centrepiece above a bed or door, on a cabinet or wardrobe panel, over a fireplace, or as a carved medallion on a stair or wall. The rounded outline sits happily inside an arch or on a square field alike. CNC / print notes • Machine or print it as a face-up relief; the back is flat for mounting. • The deepest cuts fall where the scrolls curl away from the urn — a roughing pass plus a fine ball-nose finish clears those pockets without burning the small bits. • Close-grained hardwood or dense PU board holds the flute lines on the urn and the crisp flower petals; open grain will soften them. • For FDM, orient flat and drop to a fine layer height so the spirals stay smooth; a walnut or antique-white finish with a hint of glaze in the recesses really shows off the depth.
