Description

A length of trim built from one plump repeating link, marching along the strip. The unit is a pill-shaped oval cushion, its centre hollowed into a smooth dished oval, joined to its neighbours by a slim waisted bracket with a small round boss at each junction. Run in series it reads like a row of stylised beads or chain links, alternately swelling and pinching, all lifted off a flat backing band so the whole thing can be cut to length and applied as continuous trim. The relief is shallow and softly rounded, which gives it that quiet moulded sheen rather than sharp-edged detail. This is a classic decorative border for furniture and cabinetry, mirror and picture frames, fireplace surrounds, door casings and panelled walls. Because it's a repeating tile, you can loop the file to whatever length the job needs. CNC notes • Designed to be tiled — butt copies end to end and the ovals carry on without a visible seam if you trim on the bracket link. • A ball-nose finishing pass gives the cushions their soft moulded surface; the relief is shallow, so a light roughing pass is usually enough. • Straight-grained hardwood or dense MDF both machine well; MDF then paints to a crisp, uniform trim. • Prime and spray for painted joinery, or stain and wax to sit against timber furniture.
