Description

A Louis-styled console table, carved from a single elegant idea. This CNC/relief model captures a classic occasional table: a gently bowed top edge above a shaped apron, resting on four slender cabriole legs that sweep out and curl to scrolled toe feet. At the centre of the apron sits a delicate cartouche of C-scrolls and volutes, the sort of restrained rococo flourish that reads as antique French without shouting. The soft matte render highlights the flowing leg profiles and the hand-carved feel of the apron detail. It is offered as a furniture-maker's reference and decorative model, useful whether you are routing components, planning a real build, or printing a miniature. Who it suits: woodworkers and CNC hobbyists prototyping table legs and aprons, dolls-house and diorama makers wanting a period side table, and set-dressers after a graceful furniture prop. Print / CNC notes: • For CNC, the apron cartouche runs beautifully as a shallow 3D relief in hardwood; the full legs are better milled 3-axis per component or turned to profile. • As a print, orient legs individually and pin them to the top to avoid fragile bridging under the apron. • The undercut scrollwork on the apron wants fine supports or a small tapered ball-nose finishing pass. • Sand the cabriole curves along the grain and seal before staining to keep the flowing lines crisp. Scale it to a real 1:1 table, or down to 1:12 for a miniature drawing room.
