Rococo Louis XV Carved Bed

A Rococo bed dripping with carved scrollwork. Both the tall headboard and the lower footboard are a riot of Baroque ornament — C-scrolls and acanthus leaves spill out from a central crowned cartouche, floral sprays fill the pierced panels, and a shell motif anchors the foot rail. This is really a furniture-maker's reference model: an ornately carved double bed frame in the French Louis XV manner, symmetrical and richly detailed from its scrolled cabriole feet to the plumed crest. Use it as a CNC carving master for a full-size headboard, a dolls-house or miniature bedroom piece, an architectural study, or a standalone decorative relief. CNC / print notes • For CNC relief, the design splits naturally into separate headboard and footboard passes; rough with a large bit, then detail the pierced scrollwork with a fine tapered ballnose. • Run the grain horizontally along each rail, and leave tabs on the pierced sections so the fragile scrolls don't tear out. • As a resin or FDM miniature, print the head- and foot-boards flat with supports only under the deepest undercuts. • Scale up to real bed dimensions or shrink to 1:12 for dolls-house furniture.
