Description

A tall, slender panel blank — a long upright board with a small tab at its head and a chamfered foot at its base. The preview renders as a flat silhouette, so I will be straight about it: the surface relief is not visible here, but the outline is clear. It is a narrow, slightly tapering vertical element, much taller than it is wide, with a little projecting tenon or tab at the top and an angled cut across the bottom where it would seat into a rail or a floor. That shape reads like a repeating vertical component: a baluster or picket for a railing, a slat for a screen or radiator cover, or a plank/plaque blank waiting for a routed motif. In a CNC workflow it is a cut-and-repeat part, and several nest neatly down a single sheet. Cut and print notes: • Nest multiples along the bed or sheet to run a whole balustrade or screen in one job. • Cut from dimensioned stock or ply; the top tab is sized to drop into a matching rail groove. • Ease and sand the long edges, since they are the faces most on show once installed. • If you want a carved face, treat this as the blank and add your relief pattern before machining.
