This piece is a plain rectangular panel with generously rounded corners and a subtly domed, gently bevelled face that catches light warmly across the middle. There is no pattern, motif or lettering here on purpose: it is a blank plaque blank, a starting canvas for a house number, a door name, a workshop label, an award plate or a bar sign. Because the surface is uninterrupted, it pairs perfectly with any lettering or logo you want to add later, whether V-carved directly into the face, layered on as a separate raised inlay, or painted and gilded. The soft radius corners keep it modern and friendly rather than sharp and industrial, so it sits happily in a kitchen, an office, a nursery door or above a garden gate. Print / carve notes • The rounded corners cut cleanly with a standard end mill; no tiny detail bit needed for the outline. • Leave the face flat for engraving, or run a light V-carve pass to add text and a keyline border once you have chosen your wording. • Any easy-to-machine stock works, MDF for painted signs, oak or walnut for a premium natural finish. • Keep it flat and face-up on the bed; a fine skim pass over the domed face gives a smooth ready-to-finish surface.
