Louis XV Cabriole Console Table

An elegant occasional table with the unmistakable sway of French cabriole legs. The model shows a rectangular top riding on four gracefully curved legs that bow outward at the knee and taper to small scrolled feet, joined by a shaped apron whose lower edge dips into a soft central scallop. The silhouette is pure Louis XV / Queen Anne, restrained, refined and beautifully balanced, with just enough carved profiling on the skirt to catch a shadow line. For a CNC shop this is a complete furniture reference: mill the shaped legs and the profiled apron, or use it as the master for a scaled miniature, a dollhouse piece, or a decorative model. It equally suits anyone 3D-printing scale furniture for architectural mock-ups or display. Cut & print notes • The cabriole legs are the star; cut each on a 4-axis router, or bandsaw-and-finish, so the compound curve flows across front and side. • A hardwood like walnut, cherry or beech carves the knee blocks and feet cleanly. • At miniature scale, resin printing holds the apron scallop and slim ankles better than FDM. • Cut or print the top, apron and legs as separate parts for easy finishing, then assemble and glue. • Keep the grain running down the length of each leg for strength through the thin ankle.
