Description
A long, whisper-thin strip of trim — clean lines, no fuss. The render catches this piece almost edge-on, so it reads as a single slender horizontal band lit along its top lip: in other words, a long, low, flat linear profile rather than a figured panel. It's best understood as a slim moulding, border or edge-trim strip — the kind of runner you'd rout along the front lip of a shelf, the toe of a cabinet, the edge of a picture frame, or across a drawer front to break a flat surface with a crisp shadow line. Because the geometry is essentially linear and shallow, it tiles end to end: run several passes and butt them together to carry the trim the length of a wall or a piece of furniture. Honest note: this view is nearly edge-on, so any surface texture on the face isn't visible here — treat it as a low-relief linear moulding and preview the toolpath before you commit good stock. CNC / print notes • The shallow depth makes this a quick single-setup job; a fine V-bit or small ball-nose keeps the edges sharp. • Mill from hardwood for hard-wearing trim, or MDF if it's destined to be painted. • Nest several lengths across one board to make use of offcuts. • For 3D printing, lay it flat and print face-up — no supports needed at this depth.
