Scalloped Cartouche Sign Blank

A blank canvas with a bit of old-world charm. This is a plaque blank: a broad, gently domed rectangle whose left and right edges are cut into soft, waving scallops that curl in at the corners, like the ends of a stitched leather label or an antique cartouche. The top and bottom run straight, the face is left clean and open, and a subtle raised lip frames the whole thing — a shape that's finished and elegant on its own, and asking for your text. Drop in a house name, a family surname, a room label, a bar or garden sign, or wedding-table numbering. It works as a hanging sign, a door plaque or a freestanding shelf marker. Print / CNC notes • Prints flat on its back with no supports; the framed face is ideal for a two-colour filament swap if you want raised lettering to stand out. • On a CNC router, surface the face flat then V-carve or pocket your lettering; the wavy border makes a natural profile-cut outline. • Add a keyhole slot or two rear holes before slicing if you plan to wall-mount, or leave a flat base to stand it up. Paint the recessed field one shade and the raised border another to frame the message.
