Description

A footed urn brimming with orchard fruit, flanked by two beaded scrolls. This is a fully modelled classical vase carved in generous high relief: a turned pedestal foot, a swelling ovoid body wrapped at its base by a collar of overlapping acanthus leaves, and a wide mouth spilling over with apples, pears and small berries tumbling forward. The handles are the showpiece — long S-scrolls studded with a row of beads down their spine, curling up from the shoulder like ram's-horn volutes. Use it as a centre motif on a fireplace frieze, a stair-landing panel or the door of a display cabinet — anywhere an abundance theme fits a traditional or country-house interior. It scales down neatly as a newel-post cap or as a repeated element in a kitchen-dresser pediment. Print notes: • The fruit cluster has real overhang; on FDM print upright with tree supports under the leaves and fruit, or split the model at the rim and print the bowl of fruit separately. • For CNC, this wants a rotary 4th axis for a true in-the-round cut, or machine it as a deep 2.5D relief from the front only and accept a flat back. • Finish the bead scrolls with a fine detail bit; those little spheres are what sell the piece. • Seal the end grain before oiling so the acanthus collar doesn't blotch.
