Baroque Rosette Wall Panel

A tall ornamental panel where baroque scrolls swirl around a daisy-like heart. Set on a raised rectangular ground with a bevelled border, the design mirrors itself top to bottom: a round central medallion carved as a many-petalled rosette, hugged on every side by a whirl of C-scrolls, curls and little sprouting buds that fan toward the corners. The relief is soft and continuous, more flowing filigree than sharp foliage, so it catches a gentle gradient of light down its length. Cut / print notes • Keep the flat bordered ground intact — it frames the scrollwork and gives you a clean glue or fixing surface on the back. • The tightest curls sit close together near the centre; a small finishing bit keeps them from merging into a blur. • For 3D printing, flat on the bed with the carved face up is effortless and support-free; scale the height to your door stile before slicing. • Finish idea: a mid-tone stain with a lightly dry-brushed highlight on the raised scrolls makes the whole panel pop against a darker surround.
