Grapevine Cello Wall Plaque

A grape-laced cello carved in soft relief — music you can hang on a wall. This CNC panel depicts a stringed instrument, cello-like in silhouette, rendered as a single-sided bas-relief. The scrolled headstock and four tuning pegs sit up top, strings running the length of the neck down to a large round medallion set across the instrument's body — a smooth blank cartouche perfect for personalising with a carved name, date or monogram. Two flourishes of curling grape and vine leaves soften the design at the shoulder and lower bout, giving it a warm, old-world luthier feel. The back is flat for easy mounting. Cut / print notes: • The geometry is a single-sided relief — ideal for 3-axis routing with a large roughing bit followed by a fine ball-nose for the leaf veins. • Leave the central medallion blank, or run a second V-carve pass to engrave lettering. • In hardwoods, take shallow finishing passes to keep the thin string ridges from chipping. • To 3D print instead, lay it flat, relief-side up, at 0.12mm for the crispest leaf detail; no supports needed.
