Description

A young guardian dragon, hackles up and jaw parted mid-snarl. This finely sculpted beast sits back on its haunches atop a cracked, rocky display base, front claws planted and membraned wings half-raised behind it. Overlapping scales run the length of its body, a ridge of spines follows the spine and throat, and the horned, reptilian head tips upward with an open, toothy mouth. It is packed with texture — crisp scale rows, taut wing membranes and a rugged stone groundwork — the kind of detail that rewards a good print and a careful drybrush. It is built as a display statue and gaming centrepiece: ideal for a fantasy shelf, a tabletop RPG encounter, or a painted diorama. The integrated base means it stands solidly without extra mounting. Print notes • Resin is the way to go here to hold the scale and tooth detail; print at a decent scale so wing membranes stay strong. • Orient with the wings angled back and add supports under the jaw, wing undersides and the raised foreleg. • Check for a cavity between the wings and body — add internal supports there if your slicer flags overhangs. • Prime grey, then wash the recesses and drybrush the scale edges to make the sculpt pop.
