Description

A dragon caught mid-snarl, mounted like a hunter's trophy on the wall. This model is a three-dimensional dragon head reared out from a shield-shaped backboard, the whole thing built to hang as a decorative plaque. The head itself is the star: overlapping armour-plate scales run from the crown down the snout, a pair of long tapering horns sweep back off the skull, and the deep-set eye and heavy brow give it a watchful, half-lidded glare. The lower jaw is bony and beak-like, and you can pick out ridged nostrils and a row of small teeth. Behind it sits a heraldic escutcheon with a raised, engraved vine-and-rope border framing the empty field. It suits anyone building a fantasy corner, a games room, a tabletop shrine or a themed bar — a faux medieval trophy that reads as carved wood or aged bronze once finished. Hang it solo or flank a doorway with a matched pair. Print notes • Best on resin for the fine scale and horn detail, but a 0.15mm FDM print holds up well too. • Print the head at an angle or face-up on the plaque back; the horns and jaw are the overhang-heavy zones, so tree supports there. • Add a keyhole slot or two behind the plaque before slicing if you want a flush wall hang. • A bronze rub-and-buff or stone-grey drybrush sells the trophy look; leave a keyhole for the mount.
