Horned Dragon Head Wall Mount

A dragon's head, jaws thrown open, mounted like a hunter's trophy. This sculpt is a long-snouted dragon head fixed to an oval backplate, staring off in three-quarter profile. Swept-back horns and a fan of smaller spines crown the skull, a heavy ridged brow shades the deep-set eye socket, and the elongated jaws gape wide to reveal two curving rows of sharp, uneven teeth. The bony, slightly gaunt modelling gives it a fossil-meets-fantasy character — more ancient wyrm than cartoon dragon. As a wall mount it projects out from the plate, so it throws real shadow and reads well from across a room. It is built for a fantasy games room, a tavern-themed corner, a cosplay or LARP wall, or a bold gothic feature piece. Add a keyhole slot to the backplate for hanging. Print / CNC notes • The open jaw and gap-toothed maw are the tricky area: on FDM or resin, orient the head to keep supports off the teeth and clear them carefully. • For CNC, a 3D relief pass with a ballnose finisher captures the snout and horn curves; the deepest jaw undercuts may need a follow-up from a second angle or hand finishing. • Prime and paint with a bone or aged-stone base and a dark wash in the eye and tooth recesses to sink the detail. Scales up handsomely as a large statement mount or down as a shelf piece.
