Wyrmling Dragon Mid-Landing Miniature

A young dragon caught mid-landing, wings flung wide. This is a full-body dragon sculpt posed upright on its hind legs, its long neck arching back and a horned, snout-heavy head turning to one side. The standout is the pair of huge membranous wings: one sweeps up and open, ribbed like a bat's, the leathery skin stretched taut between the finger-bones. A row of small spines runs from the base of the skull down the spine and out along a whip-thin tail, and the four limbs end in slender clawed digits. The surface is smooth and clean rather than heavily scaled, which keeps it readable at small sizes and gives painters an easy canvas. It suits tabletop RPG encounters, a shelf display among other fantasy pieces, or a gift for anyone who hoards dragon models. Depending on scale you can field it as a wyrmling for 28-32mm games or blow it up into a decorative centrepiece. Print notes • Resin (SLA/MSLA) gives the crispest wing membranes and claw tips; FDM works if you thicken the wings slightly. • Expect to support the underside of both wings, the outstretched neck and the tail; an angled, mid-air orientation reduces contact scars on visible faces. • Print the wings in place if your resin is tough, or split at the shoulder for a stronger FDM result and glue after. • Prime grey before painting so the flat, scale-free skin reads well under a wash.
